1. Introduction

ZAYNHQ PORTAL (trading as ChessFeed.live) respects your privacy. This policy outlines how we handle your data in strict compliance with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL).

2. Data We Collect

We only collect the absolute minimum data required to facilitate your chess mentorship sessions:

2.1. For All Users

  • Identity Info: Username, Email Address (for receipts/notifications), Display Name.
  • Chess Data: Chess.com/Lichess username and public performance statistics.
  • Authentication Data: Account credentials (hashed passwords or OAuth tokens via Google Sign-In).
  • Usage Data: Session participation, queue history, and interaction timestamps.
  • Transaction Data (Paid Users Only): Payment status and transaction ID for "Priority Queue" or optional tips. We do NOT store your credit card number.

2.2. Additional Data for Streamers

  • Stripe Connect Data: Bank account or payment method details provided to Stripe for payout processing. This data is stored and managed exclusively by Stripe, not by ZAYNHQ PORTAL.
  • Public Profile Data: Display name, avatar, bio, chess rating, channel URL, and pricing tiers — all voluntarily provided and publicly visible.
  • Session Analytics: Number of sessions hosted, games played, queue statistics, and earnings data.
  • Tax Identification: If required by Stripe or applicable tax law, Streamers may be asked to provide tax identification information. This is processed and stored by Stripe.

3. Data Sharing

3.1. Data Shared with Streamers

To enable your mentorship session, we must share limited information with the Freelance Creator (Streamer):

  • Shared: Your Chess Username, Queue Position, selected tier, and any notes/comments you submit.
  • NOT Shared: Your Email Address, Billing Address, Real Name (unless part of your display name), or Payment Details.

3.2. Data Shared with Users

Streamers' public profile information (display name, avatar, rating, pricing, session statistics) is visible to all platform users to facilitate informed decisions about which instructors to learn from.

3.3. Third-Party Data Processors

  • Stripe: Handles all payment processing and Streamer payouts. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Firebase (Google Cloud): Cloud infrastructure for data storage and authentication. Subject to Firebase Privacy and Security.
  • Ably: Real-time communication for live session features. Subject to Ably's Privacy Policy.
  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Payment Security

All financial transactions are handled directly by Stripe. ZAYNHQ PORTAL does not view, process, or store your credit card information. Stripe's use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. For Streamer payouts, Stripe securely stores and processes banking details under PCI DSS Level 1 compliance.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account data only as long as necessary to provide the service:

  • Active Accounts: Data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to support dispute resolution and legal obligations.
  • Account Deletion: You may request full deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support. We will process your request within 30 days.
  • Transaction Records: Financial transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by UAE tax and commercial law.
  • Anonymized Data: Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and platform improvement.

6. Your Rights (UAE PDPL)

Under the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, you have the right to:

  • Right of Access: Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right of Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right of Erasure: Request erasure of your data ("Right to be Forgotten").
  • Right to Restrict Processing: Request limitation of how we process your data.
  • Right to Data Portability: Receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.

7. Streamer Data Responsibilities

Streamers who access User data through the platform must:

  • Use User data only for the purpose of providing mentorship sessions on the platform.
  • Not store, export, or share User data outside of the platform.
  • Not use User data for unsolicited marketing, spam, or any purpose unrelated to the platform.
  • Report any suspected data breaches to ZAYNHQ PORTAL immediately.

Violation of these responsibilities may result in immediate suspension of the Streamer's account and potential legal action.

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud/Firebase), access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies and local storage to maintain your session, preferences, and authentication state. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels. Analytics data is collected in an anonymized, aggregated format.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
